New York: Albert & Charles Boni, 1926. Rogers, Betty. Will Rogers - His Wife's Story. 312 pp. Plates from photographs. 18.6x27.6cm (6x8¾"). Cloth lettered in gilt. New York: The Bobbs-Merrill Company. 1941. Together 2 Volumes. Both works signed and dedicated by their authors. Each inscribed and signed by their author (the entertainer Will Rogers and his wife Betty Rogers) to Katrine Deakins, executive secretary to Amon G. Carter, the founder and publisher of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and a nationally known civic booster for Fort Worth, Texas. A legacy in his will was used to create Fort Worth's Amon Carter Museum, which was founded by his daughter, Ruth Carter Stevenson, in January 1961. The first volume is stated Volume I although Rogers admits that he had no intention of producing a Volume II. Lot Amendments Condition: Light wear to cloth; very good or better. Item number: 247479
