Lot of 17, comprised of letters, envelopes, and postal accounts. Items include: an envelope addressed to the secretary of chemistry of Great Britain and Ireland; an 1846 envelope addressed to Mr P.W. Taylor; an 1851 envelope addressed to a Mrs. Sayers; a J.W. Whatletly ALS; an 1840 ALS to a Mrs. Lindsay; two 1835 letters from a J.B. Brook; a letter from Walter Griffith to a John Thorogood; 1823 letter addressed to William Wilshire; a letter from Reverend J.R. Browne; an 1836 letter to Chippenhan and Wilts; an 1850 travel letter from a English gentlemen commenting on African Americans; business letters dating from 1841, 1806, 1833, and 797; and British postal account records. Condition: All in good condition with cases of minor toning, some have issues with brittleness. Almost all letters have typical folds.
