Beschreibung:

With the first of an entirely new generation of four-valves-per-cylinder 'Boxer' twins already on sale, BMW rounded off production of the old-style twin-cylinder range in 1995 with a trio of final edition Classic models. These were the R100RT Classic, the R100GS Classic and the R100R Classic. Featuring the marque's traditional white-pinstriped black livery, the latter was based on the R100R Roadster that had been introduced in 1992 to cash in on the increasing popularity of 'retro' styled models. Wire wheels and a type of rocker cover last seen in the 1960s were other Roadster features, but there was a lot more to it than mere old-fashioned styling cues, for the R100R represented just about the ultimate development of the traditional Boxer. Based on the R100GS, it used the latter's 40mm carburettors while incorporating Showa suspension, Brembo 4-pot brake calipers, floating brake discs and 17/18" wheels. One of the last produced, this R100R Classic has not been used and remains in effectively 'as new' condition. We are advised that the exhaust was changed before the machine left the factory. Bei dieser R100R Classic handelt es sich eines der letzt gebauten Exemplare. Die Maschine ist unbenutzt und befindet sich in neuwertigem Zustand. Es wurde mitgeteilt, dass die Auspuffanlage vor der Werksauslieferung gewechselt wurde.
