Beschreibung:

Independents had been producing them for a long time, but it was not until 1993, 34 years after production had commenced, that there was an official soft-top Mini - the Mini Cabriolet, its introduction following the favourable reception of a limited edition cabriolet made by German Rover dealer LAMM Autohaus. Developed jointly by Rover and coachbuilder Karmann, the Mini Cabriolet was built at Longbridge and based on the existing Mini Cooper 1.3i saloon. The Cabriolet was by far the most lavishly equipped Mini to date, boasting five-spoke Revolution alloy wheels and full colour co-ordinated body kit, while the interior rivalled that of many luxury saloons with its acres of burr walnut veneer, adjustable sports seats, tinted windows, leather-bound steering wheel, rev counter and stereo. This superb example has enjoyed just one lady owner and covered a mere 2,700 miles from new, as confirmed by the accompanying service history and expired MoTs from 1996 to date. The vehicle is offered with order form/invoice/letter from Rover confirming production commencement in 1993, original brochure, CNN video footage of the car produced in conjunction with Rover and the owner, original handbook pack, stamped service book, hood cover, tonneau and tailored car cover. Finished in Nightfire Red with grey interior, it comes with MoT to July 2005 and Swansea V5 registration document.
