The following scarf was designed by Barry Kay (Australian, 1932-1985) who designed scarves for Ascher Ltd. as part of their 'Artist Squares' series from 1944 to 1955. He was a renowned stage and costume designer and photographer, who produced designs for companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, Sadler's Wells Opera, the Vienna State Opera, the Royal Opera House and many others.
