Mileage: c.35,000 MoT: 01/08/2019 *Late example of the much-loved TK *Registered as a motorhome *Recent re-paint and electrics update The whistle of a Bedford TK's brakes was once a common sound on main roads and high streets and a variety of engine sizes ensured popularity in many applications - including horseboxes - in which form this very late model was originally built, bodywork being supplied by noted specialists G.C. Smith of Loughborough. Today it enjoys its new dual purpose role having been equipped with 'living area' and horse/classic motorcycle carrier in the rear. Bodily it presents well, having been re-painted in its original colour scheme three years ago, and the straight panelwork shows no signs of neglect or damage. The cab is in very good, original order, without any modifications and the seats, door cards and dashboard are remarkably good, as is the original rubber floor covering. The living quarters have been well constructed and feature a bed and seats that convert to a bed, and there is a two ring cooker, hot water supply and, of course, a sink. Needless to say there is ample storage space. Behind the living area is the cargo area, which remains in used but clean and tidy order. Mechanically well maintained, MoT-tested and on the button this TK is an unusual yet highly practical transporter that would not look out of place in any pit, paddock, point to point or Pony Club meeting.
