Beschreibung:

Just a few years after introducing the R90/6 and R90S, BMW upped the capacity of its range-topping flat-twins to 980cc for the 1977 season in the form of the R100/7 series, the flagship of this new line-up being the fully-faired R100RS superbike. Although styled like a super-sports machine, the R100RS was actually more of a sports-tourer, which did it no harm whatsoever in BMW's traditional market sector. This R100RS has been in the current owner's possession (company followed by private) for the last 25 years and has covered only 32,500 miles from new. Noteworthy features include original BMW panniers (complete with keys) and the rare factory option of wire-spoked wheels, fitted in preference to the standard cast-aluminium type. MoT'd to August 2014 and currently taxed, the machine is offered with sundry bills and Swansea V5C registration document.
