1974 Harley-Davidson X-90. The Harley-Davidson X-90 was produced for Harley-Davidson by Aermacchi and was only manufactured for 3 years , 1973-1975. Commonly referred to as the ”Shortster”, this legitimate mini-motorcycle weighs in at only 126 lbs, provides a 4-speed transmission and 90cc air-cooled, two-stroke, single piston engine capable of a top speed of 53 mph. In 1974 the X-90 saw total production run of only 7,019 total units. This X-90 presents as a restoration piece using mostly O.E.M. components. Overall the bike is in excellent condition, it starts and runs on first kick and is a very nice example of a 1974 X-90. Of note to the buyer, the correct plastic crankcase fill pug is currently missing and would need to be replaced to make this a fully functional and reliable machine. At present, there is a non-original plastic crankcase fill plug installed so the bike could be test started. The seat shows little sign of wear and has no rips or tears, the fuel tank has a small paint chip/ding in front right side. Both fenders have good chrome with no rust or dents and tires are in excellent condition. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Item Dimensions: 61"L.
