BSA’s popular and effective Bantam underwent a large number of transformations during its long life, successively increased in size from 125 to 150 to 175cc, the range eventually faded away, ceding place to the Japanese competition , in the early ‘70s. Nevertheless, many Bantams continue to provide economical transport and amongst the most wanted is the D14, as in this example from the last year of production. SUX 34H, registered in mid-1970 and last used in 1988, is in apparently original paint and in complete condition. Following re-commissioning, the Bantam should be able to give cheerful transport in the way that its predecessors did. There is both a V5 and an RF.60 Log-book for its - slightly improper – Shropshire number.
