The Bultaco ‘TSS’, developed from the factory’s 250 in 1968, continued to be a favourite, as a clubman racer with a good success record, after the company had concentrated on trials machines. The process of race development still continues. This ‘TSS’, known as ‘Yellow’, uses genuine Bultaco TSS racer mechanicals in a copy frame to race specification and has been developed by a Bultaco enthusiast and racer as an alternative to the his other ‘TSS’. Recently overhauled, it is specified with a Grimeca 4LS front brake, 38mm Amal Mk 2, 4-speed CR ‘box, Hitachi electronic ignition and Scitsu tachometer. There will be a useful collection of racing and other spares to view with the machine and the long-term - but now retired - owner declares it to be ready to race. It is complete with Group 1 CRMC certificate No. 120556 and will be an ideal machine for club racing.
