The announcement in 1965 of the all-new Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow heralded a new generation of motoring excellence from the Crewe factory. They were the first Rolls-Royce models to employ unitary construction and the sleek factory coachwork was a full 4 inches lower than the Silver Cloud III, its predecessor. The V8 engine displaced 6.2 litres, although in Rolls-Royce tradition no power output was quoted. The interior was superbly appointed, using only the finest leather and carpeting and the generous wood cappings and fascia were polished to a mirror finish. This car is presented in white livery with red interior and is to standard factory automatic specification. The vendor acquired no history with this car but describes condition as good in all areas with no known major modifications from factory specification. The car comes with a valuable private registration plate, Swansea V5 registration document, current road fund licence and recently expired MoT certificate. The Flying Lady mascot is gold-plated and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
