For many years the classic movement favoured the larger-engined 3.4 and 3.8 versions but more recently the entry-level 2.4 has gained ground. Giving a little on performance, it more than compensates with the same character as its more powerful siblings and in most everyday driving it performs equally well. This 2.4 was with its first owner until 1972 and is believed to have been off the road for some time after 1977. It comes to the sale with the benefit of being largely original, our vendor says. The bodywork is described as very good while the green paint, trim, chrome and wheels/tyres are said to be good. The interior is original and the green leather seats are said to be very good, the rest of the interior including dashboard, door cards and headlining being in good order. Engine starting and running are excellent and the underbonnet appearance good. The running gear, including gearbox, suspension and brakes are very good and the car's electrics good, the vendor says.
