Triumph re-entered the 350 class in 1957 with the introduction of the Twenty One, Triumph's first unit-construction model. Following the introduction of the sporting T100SS, the 350cc twin received similar treatment. Launched in October 1962, the Tiger 90 featured a tuned engine equipped with a revised ignition system that used points instead of the previous distributor. The Tiger 90 looked smart and went well too, top speed under favourable conditions being a genuine 90mph. Acquired by its late owner in July 2003, this example displays a total of 31,739 miles on the odometer and features non-matching Smiths rev counter and speedometer, twin-leading-shoe front brake conversion, rear luggage rack and Avon Roadrunner tyres. The machine is offered with copy owner's handbook and Swansea V5, and is sold strictly as viewed.
