Il la fera restaurer en Italie par les meilleurs spécialistes. Revendue en vente aux enchères en 2009 au précédent propriétaire et quelques temps après à l'actuel, cette Mistral se trouve aujourd'hui dans un bel état de fonctionnement. On ne peut que constater que le travail de restauration avait été bien réalisé en 2007 tant sa peinture, son intérieur et sa mécanique restent à niveau sur la durée.
