Delecroix le 12 avril 1962, puis fut immatriculée le lendemain 6777 ME 75. Elle retenait déjà sa combinaison de couleurs actuelle : blanc (DB50) avec intérieur rouge, et disposait d'un hard-top ainsi que d'un autoradio Becker Europa optionnel. C'est auprès de la famille de la première propriétaire que son actuel possesseur en a fait l'acquisition en 1989, séduit par son état de préservation et l'importante documentation qui l'accompagnait. En effet, celle-ci est toujours accompagnée de sa Datenkarte qui permet de confirmer que le moteur est d'origine, de tous ses manuels de bord, incluant ceux de l'autoradio, ainsi que du manuel des pièces détachées. Préservée en état d'origine, la carrosserie est saine, bien alignée et a été anciennement repeinte. La sellerie, ainsi que la capote et la garniture du hard-top ont été soigneusement refaites en 2018. Le moteur d'origine est équipé de carburateurs Weber 40 DCOE, réputés plus fiables et faciles à régler, prolongés de cornets en lieu et place du filtre à air. La mécanique s'avère bien réglée et démarre à la première sollicitation. Cette 190 SL, produite parmi les derniers exemplaires, bénéficie des dernières évolutions du modèle, il est rarissime de trouver un exemplaire français d'origine à l'historique aussi limpide et documenté. Delecroix on 12 April 1962. It was then registered the next day as 6777 ME 75. It already had its current colour combination: white (DB50) with red interior and it also possessed a hardtop as well as an optional Becker Europa car radio. Its current proprietor acquired it from the first owner's family in 1989, seduced by its well-preserved condition and the extensive documentation. It is accompanied by its Datenkarte, which confirms that the engine is original, all its onboard manuals, including those of the car radio as well as the spare parts manual. Maintained in its original condition, the bodywork is sound, well aligned and was repainted in the past. The upholstery, as well as the hood and hardtop trim were carefully refurbished in 2018. The original engine is fitted with Weber 40 DCOE carburettors which are deemed more reliable and easier to adjust, extended with cones instead of the air filter. The engine is well adjusted and starts in a flash. Produced among the last examples, this 190 SL benefits from the latest evolutions of this model, it is extremely rare to find an original French example with such a clear and documented history.
