Mileage: TBC MoT: Exempt *Single ownership since 2003 *Good History File *A restored and well maintained example Daimler combined its jewel-like small displacement V8 with a glassfibre open body and created the SP250, a car quite unlike its sensible, understated saloons on which its post-war reputation was based. A short production life (prematurely ceased by Jaguar's takeover) gave the SP250 an almost cult-like status and in recent years interest has dramatically increased. MPH is delighted to offer this older restoration example that has been owned by the vendor since early 2003. That restoration, believed to have been carried out in 2000 was then supplemented by further work in 2016, costing £4300. With a good engine, bodywork, paint, interior and chassis – as well as rack and pinion steering conversion – here is an exciting, unusual way to enjoy British drop-top V8 motoring, its appeal boosted by a good history file.
