Beschreibung:

BSA’s hugely successful Road Rocket was re-named the Super Rocket for the 1958 season and featured engine improvements, particularly to inlet and exhaust tracts and also a raised compression ratio. Braking was significantly improved to cope with the power output which had been increased to 43bhp. The top-of-the-range twin, the Super Rocket, was one of six twins listed by BSA in their catalogue for 1960 and sold for a not inexpensive £273. The Super Rocket would cruise comfortably at 70mph and had a top speed potential in excess of 90mph.This machine was acquired by George Fearn shortly before his death and never used by him. At the time of cataloguing the history of the bike is unknown but it appears to be presented to original specification in all major respects and a visual inspection suggests recent restoration. No documents had been located at the time of cataloguing however prospective buyers are advised to enquire at the time of the sale regarding Swansea registration status. The machine is smartly presented in red livery with black frame and chrome tank panels.
