Beschreibung:

This Royal Enfield Bullet was despatched new to Bee Motorcycles of Liverpool on 6th May 1953. It is believed to have been converted for trials use circa 1957/58, as evidenced by the Lucas Wader magneto and trials fuel tank of that era (the latter has a satin chromed finish over-painted for protection). Subsequently re-registered on age-related number ‘262 GRP’, the machine has been in the hands of the present owner – a VMCC member of long standing - for more than 30 years and is reported to be ‘easy to handle and a pleasure to ride’. In recent years the original Amal Monobloc carburettor has been replaced with a superior Concentric Mk1½ for improved performance, while the original Armstrong rear suspension units have given way to Girlings offering better damping and longer travel. Offered with REOC dating certificate and Swansea V5 document, this is a usable and reliable Pre-‘65 trials bike which, after re-commissioning, should provide its new owner with much enjoyment. Included in the sale is a Parry ‘universal’, bolt-through, alloy fuel tank complete with twin outlets and ‘Monza’ filler cap, as used on this machine and suitable for a variety of others.
