Description The new Guzzi appeared as a very simple model, both mechanically and by lead: the commands are few and all at hand, although in some cases antiquated (as the accelerator, controlled by a lever on the handlebars, or the change in with hand lever on the right of the tank). The 65 Mandello was an immediate commercial success and was also raced by the likes of Umberto Masetti, who took one to a victory in Reggio Emilia in 1947. The following year, the changes were more numerous, like the swingarm was strengthened, while the light switch was moved to the handlebars, the tail was changed and the sprocket cover increased. This lovely Guzzino we have here, is a C model and a very rare due to it being in original condition and unrestored. This is a matching number example and was totally restored at the end of 2015 by the Italian Guzzi specialist Manfrinetti. This is a perfect bike to emulate those that rode in the 1950s.
