Beschreibung:

1952 MG TD SPORTS TWO-SEATER Registration No. TGG 907 Chassis No. TD 19738 Engine No. XPAG TD2 20094 Left hand drive. The MG TD was a development of the TC. The engine and body shape of the TC were popular and right for the time, so by taking a Y-Type chassis shortened by five inches, with independent front suspension, rack and pinion steering and adding a TC body, the TD was born. It was a sports car that combined classic looks, comfort and performance, capable of over 85mph. This TD was built for the expanding export market, but was re-imported into England in 1957. It was last licenced in early 1962 and has been in storage since April of that year, only once being driven in 1976 when it had to be moved to its present location. There has been no attempt to start it since then. The owner believes that the TD is complete and that the body is in fairly good condition. The old style log book is available which shows there have been only two owners while the car has been in England.
