Our vendor acquired the Allard in 2016 and continued re-commissioning work the previous owner had in train, which had included a re-conditioned Marles steering box in 2014. In 2017 new track rod ends were fitted and latterly fuel and ignition systems have been upgraded, work including the fitting of a new Stromberg carburetor and Mallory distributor. The white bodywork remains highly presentable while the red interior shows little signs of use. The hood was re-furbished late last year and new side screens fitted. Our vendor advises little mileage has been covered since the 1990s restoration and the car remains in generally very good condition.
