Beschreibung:

This purposeful-looking example of Norton’s ultra-successful, pre-war, over-the-counter racer has the aluminium/bronze cylinder head and alloy ’barrel (available as options from the 1936 model year onwards), Manx connecting rod, Amal TT carburettor and BTH racing magneto, the latter rewound in June 2006. In the current owner’s hand for the past 35 years, this International was entered in various events during the 1980s at venues including Goodwood, Bruntingthorpe and Brooklands. The machine has not been used regularly for the past 15 years and will therefor require the customary safety checks before further use. Prospective purchasers should not that it has not proved possible to find frame/engine numbers on this machine, which is offered without documents. An ideal candidate for racing in the VMCC’s post-vintage classes or, alternatively, an exciting restoration project easily convertible for road use.
