Beschreibung:

Offered for sale is a 1.2L 1936 BSA Scout Two Seat Sports manual that has been with the current owner for the last 42 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores 70 / 135.
Classic Car Auctions says: One owner for 42 years.......The BSA Scout stood out from the crowd as one of the early adopters of front wheel drive. With a 1200cc side-valve engine mated to a three-speed gearbox, it was renowned for its composed and predictable handling. Having owned one as a teenager, the current owner couldn't resist purchasing BMY 99 in a derelict condition in 1974 and commissioned a full mechanical and body restoration at that time. The car was subsequently refurbished in 1996 and is accompanied by a history file dating back to 1974. Said to "run and drive well" this nimble mid-thirties roadster presents nicely in Jaguar Regency Red and is the epitome of a usable pre-war classic.
