Beschreibung:

1934 ROLLS-ROYCE 20/25 SEDANCA DE VILLE COACHWORK BY BARKER Registration No. GBK 647 (Not currently registered) Chassis No. GAE 70 Engine No. A9T Right hand drive. The 20hp has a very special place in the history of Rolls-Royce. When the model first appeared after the Great War it ended the famous one model policy and for the first time gave its maker a car that appealed to the new breed of owner-driver. Steadily improved during the 1920s, it received the new title of 20/25 in 1929 and was progressively updated through the next decade. This particular 20/25 is affectionally known as the 'Bee Keepers' car owing to its highly unusual modified back door, which opens like a rear van door and gives access to two shelves upon which a former owner carried his bees and honey. It is in poor unrestored condition, however the car is virtually complete. The aluminium bodywork is in a fair condition, but the engine will require a complete rebuild. It is finished in yellow with black wings and has black leather upholstery which may be recoverable. This is an interesting restoration project for any Rolls-Royce enthusiast.
