Based on a Model B sedan, this car is powered by a later model Ford V-8 with Offenhauser heads. This is the most highly tuned V-8 car in the collection. It is very nicely painted in Washington Blue, with Straw pin stripe and black fenders. It has 16-inch wheels, tubular shock absorbers and power hydraulic brakes with cast iron drums. The interior is stock brown mohair, and the dashboard and window moldings are nicely woodgrained. There are accessory temperature and oil pressure gauges on the instrument panel. The car is fitted with a Sparton horn and greyhound radiator mascot. The paint and brightwork all hold a very good shine. The 8BA V-8 has a Weiand manifold, fed by a Holley four-barrel carburetor, tubular exhaust headers and dual exhausts. The distributor is a Mallory Mercury-style unit and the car is fitted with an alternator. The engine compartment is detailed to show standards. An extremely good looking and well running car, this no expense spared restoration is a very nice combination of original appearance with great upgraded performance. It is ready to run and sure to please.
