A time of cataloguing it had not been possible positively to identify this incomplete Vintage-era Raleigh. The vendor advises us that it is powered by a 400cc (the actual capacity would be 399cc) sidevalve engine, a type used for several different models during the early-to-mid-1920s, though the fact that this machine has all-chain drive suggests that it is a Model 5.
