Provenance: Margaret Pearse (1857-1932); Thence to her daughter, Margaret Mary Pearse (1878-1968); Thence to Margaret Mary Pearse's secretary, Maureen Breen; Gifted by Maureen Breen to Breda O'Dwyer; Thence by descent to the present owner. Includes drawings for monuments and altars - he worked in the family business of monumental sculptors - as well as a couple of pages containing a dramatic fictional adventure story, a mention of membership, and a few names noted. Signed in English and Irish on inside front cover. Green cloth, 30 pages, small folio. A rare and fascinating relic of William Pearse, brother of the leader of the 1916 Rising, executed along with him in May 1916.
