Left hand drive. No other car has had nearly such a dramatic impact as the Ford Model T. Introduced in October of 1908 the revolutionary little cars were simple, well designed, reliable and very affordable at $525.00 by 1913. For the first time the automobile was obtainable to the common man, and Henry Ford's famous production line would cater to that demand by suppling some fifteen million Model T's. Most of all they were great cars. Ford's use of vanadium steel made the Model T light yet strong. The 20hp monobloc engine with a detachable cylinder head was an advanced design that gave impressive 50mph top speed far better than almost any car its size and weight. Ford reached a milestone year in 1915 with the production of the one millionth Model T. This was also the year that Fords came factory equipped with electric lights. This T was purchased from the Estate of Dean Spenser in 1985. Mr. Spenser was a Seattle, antique car enthusiast, who had restored and used this Model T regularly. As a 1915 example this delightful touring bodied T is eligible for all Horseless Carriage Club events. WITHOUT RESERVE
