1902-11 W600 Sporting Life Cy Young (Uniform, Type 1 mount) (SGC 5.5 EX+) Magnificent example of this important and highly desirable cabinet card featuring Legendary Hall of Famer Cy Young. This highly desirable series of baseball cabinet cards was issued from 1902 to 1911 by the National Sporting Life Company. The set consists of more than 650 cards with the precise total remaining unknown, given they were both sold and issued as a redemption. Fine overall condition with only the slightest touch of corner wear evident even upon close inspection of the front. Wear is slightly more pronounced on the back corners with the most notable being the upper left which has very minor fraying. Some additional wear along the left edge on back is noted for accuracy. Among the highest graded examples to have surfaced with only a few that have been assessed stronger by either PSA or SGC: SGC 5.5 EX+
