Includes 18 notebooks of bird and wildlife and one of feeding notes. Notebooks are individually labelled (includes no. 6-24, missing no. 11) and include some ephemera. The author was a member of the Huntington Audubon Society and was a Master Birder and on Project Birdwatch out of New York. Every page is covered with bird watching notes to include; destinations of this group of birdwatchers; who drove; how long the trip was; the weather; how many hours they watched the birds; the different species of birds and how many; The birds' habits and habitats; what the birds ate; their predators; a hand drawn map; numerous pieces of ephemera; everyone's name and phone number that went on these trips, and so much more. The author goes so far as to include how many miles they went and how much gas they used. This was an exceptionally focused, dedicated, and detail oriented ornithologist.
