18TH CENTURY WELSH OAK DRESSER BASE, probably Swansea Valley, boarded top with shoes for rack, five frieze drawers above double arch under and potboard base, turned uprights, stile feet, 132 x 44 x 91cms Condition Report: lacks delft rack, handles replaced, drawer tops damaged.There is a small amount of worm, I have found a few holes at back.The feet are a little, but stands firm, very little wobble.The two side drawers will not open, they seem locked and are damaged. It looks like someone has tried to force them open and damaged the drawers in the process.The dresser does look a little lighter on the front than the sides.
