Date: 1909 Description: Lithographed map, colored. 68.5x84 cm (27x33"), folding into original gilt-lettered cloth covers, 17.5x12.5 cm (7x5"), Scarce 1909 revised publication of the important 1884 map. In its 1885 Proceedings, the Royal Geographical Society remarked of the original issue: “This map...is drawn on a larger scale than any yet published, and contains details not to be found in other maps of this same country." The map also shows the eastern coast of Baja California, and the far southern part of Arizona. Discard stamp of MacKay School of Mines University of Nevada and ownership stamp of Fritz Kramer on inside of front cover, Kramer stamp also on map verso.
