.58 caliber, 40" barrel with three-leaf rear sight. Three-band stock with iron patchbox. 1859 dated lockplate. Left side of stock has the word Yankee carved in it. Condition: All metal is grey-to-brown with pitting. Pitting is around the percussion bolster and breech and scattered throughout the barrel. Maynard tape primer cover is a replacement. Stock is weathered with nicks and dings.
