Schätzpreis: (5.000,- €) 20 Z., leicht geneigte schwarze gotische Buchschrift, die Hervorhebungen u. einige ein- bis dreizeilige Lombarden in Rot, recto schöne sechszeilige Initiale D in Orange, Lindgrün u. Hellblau zum Beginn der Weihnachtsvigilie mit Darstellung eines Ritters in ganzer Figur neben einem Fell, auf das Sonnenstrahlen herabfallen. Gemeint ist vermutlich Jason mit dem Goldenen Vlies; zum Namensumtausch Jason für Jesus (Analogie in der Bedeutung Heiland oder Heiler) siehe LThK V, 287. - Einige Wurmspuren, am inneren Rand des Schriftspiegels etwas knitterig,im Bug hinterlegte Einrisse, recto recht sauber u. mit einigen späteren Marginalien, verso Leimspuren, Falzreste u. Besitzvermerk. A single leaf from a 12th-century Latin missal, both pages with 20 lines of bold gothic script, headlines and lombard initials in red, the beginning of the Vigils of the Nativity of Christ with a charming coloured six-line historiated initial showing a knight in chain-mail armour standing next to a fleece being shone on by the sun, presumably the Greek hero Jason as a symbol of Jesus Christ, there being an etymological correspondence (healer/saviour) in their names. - Some worming, some creasing and a few tears to inner edge, recto quite clean and with several later ms. notes, verso owner's entry and traces of glue and mounts.
