Washington, Booker T. (1856-1915) Three Signed Letters. Single-page typed letter signed, Tuskegee, Alabama, 15 October 1912, on Booker T. Washington letterhead, to the editor of The New Era, enclosing a copy of the annual report to the Board of Trustees, (old fold, marks from old adhesive on reverse),6 3/4 x 5 3/4 in.; single-page letter signed, Tuskegee, Alabama, 6 January 1904, on Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute letterhead, to Miss E.S. Tillman, sending a copy of a report to the Board of Trustees, (toning in u.r. and l.r. corners, old folds),9 1/2 x 6 in.; single-page typed letter signed, Hampton, Virginia, 30 April 1903, on Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute letterhead, To Mr. W. Butler Duncan, thanking him for a contribution, (adhesive stains on reverse, old folds, chipping and small tears along left side),11 x 8 in.
