Taylor, ht. 10 3/4 in., approx. 33.5 troy oz. Note: Stone was born, trained, and worked in Sheffield, England, and Edinburgh, Scotland. He immigrated to the United States in 1884 and opened his workshop in Gardner, Massachusetts in 1901, which operated until 1937. Following the Arts and Crafts tradition, he was one of the last master silversmiths in America to train apprentices to carry out designs in hand-wrought silver.
