Contemporary gold-tooled vellum, sewn on 4 vellum tapes laced through the joints, each board with a centrepiece, double fillets forming an inner panel and outer frame, 4 corner pieces in the inner panel, double fillets on the smooth spine (traces of a lost spine label), red sprinkled edges. With owner's name M. Terwiel on an endleaf. In good condition, with tears expertly and unobtrusively repaired in 3 plates (49-50, 88). Binding with light stains. An attractive presentation of 100 statues or groups of statues from classical antiquity.
